Workshop Support Volunteer
Hours: Either 10:00am–12:30pm / 12:30pm–3:00pm or Full day 10:00am–3:00pm
Location: Main & Smaller Workshops.
Role Description:
Assist the workshop trainers in delivering structured activities, including woodworking, metal-working, jewellery making, blacksmithing, bricklaying etc. Help create an engaging and inclusive atmosphere for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with setting up and clearing of the workspace
Support participants during workshops, providing gentle encouragement and help where needed.
Monitor and ensure participant wellbeing
Assist with handing out materials or refreshments if required
Skills/Qualities Needed:
Good communication skills & patience.
Team player
Enthusiastic and encouraging
Comfortable working with groups
Good awareness of Health & Safety.
DBS Checks will be completed upon successful application.
